Do I need dance experience to take MOVEZ classes?

No. MOVEZ adult dance classes are designed for beginners and adults returning to dance after time away. No prior dance experience is required for any class.

Already have some experience? No problem! You’re welcome, too. Our combo-based classes are fun for everyone. We’ll also iccasionally offer “experience reccomended” classes. Keep an eye out for class offering announcements on our Facebook page (@MOVEZ).


Can I drop in, or do I have to commit to a full session?

You can drop in anytime. MOVEZ offers $10 drop-in adult dance classes as well as short three-week session options for those who want consistency without long-term commitment.


What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move easily. For ballet, ballet shoes or socks are welcome. For tap, tap shoes are strongly recommended but not required for beginners.


What ages are these classes for?

Here at MOVEZ, we firmly believe that dance is for eceryone. Our classes are designed for adults of all ages. There is no upper age limit, and all classes are paced with beginners in mind. Low-impact modifications are ALWAYS allowed.
